Ingredients

  • Strudel dough (or 4 filo sheets)250 g
  • Butter, melted80 g
  • Beef mince500 g
  • Onion1
  • Bread roll, soaked1
  • Egg1
  • Marjoram1 tsp
  • Parsley2 tbsp

Method

  1. FillingFry the onion and mince 10 minutes, cool, then mix with bread, egg and herbs.
  2. StretchStretch the dough very thin on a floured cloth and brush with butter.
  3. RollSpread the filling on one third and roll up using the cloth.
  4. BakeBrush with butter and bake at 190C for 35 minutes until golden.
  5. ServeSlice and serve in beef broth or with salad.
