- Fine bulgur300 g
- Onion1
- Olive oil80 ml
- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Red pepper paste1 tbsp
- Tomatoes, grated2
- Hot water300 ml
- Lemon juice2 tbsp
- Parsley1 bunch
- Salt1 tsp
Method
- BaseFry the onion in oil, add the pastes and grated tomato and cook 5 minutes.
- BulgurStir in the bulgur, hot water and salt, cover and cook on low 10 minutes.
- CoolTurn off, rest 20 minutes, then cool.
- ServeStir in the lemon and chopped parsley and serve at room temperature with lettuce leaves.
