
Creamy Mustard Chicken

Ingredients
- 8 Chicken Legs
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 4 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves Crushed Garlic
- 1/2 cup Onion
- 2 cups Chicken Stock
- 2 tablespoons Mustard
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- Garnish Parsley
Method
- Season — Pat the chicken dry and season the pieces with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Heat the pan — Heat a saucepan over medium high heat and add the oil.
- Heat the pan — Let the oil heat for a few seconds. Add the chicken and cook to sear all the sides turning the pieces a couple of times until they are golden browned about 10 minutes.
- Continue cooking — Transfer the browned chicken to a plate and set a side.
- Add ingredients — Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes or until soft.
- Add ingredients — Add the chicken broth, mustard, honey and cream.
- Stir — Season with salt and black pepper. Stir well and return the chicken pieces to the pan.
- Cover and cook — Cover the pan and cook over medium low for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Continue cooking — The final temperature for chicken legs should be 170˚F.
- Serve — Serve warm over white rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
